Supported by the HKETO in Singapore, <em>A-MUI LIVE!</em>, was staged at the Kreta Ayer People’s Theatre over a span of two days on June 18 and 19, 2016. The musical tells the story of the legendary Hong Kong artist Anita Mui’s glamorous and eventful life. The Hong Kong production was presented by the Springtime Experiential Theatre with its lead actress Margaret Cheung playing the role of Anita Mui.
Artist Margaret Cheung plays the lead role of Anita Mui in <em>A-MUI LIVE!</em>, re-living Ms Mui’s life on stage. More than 1,000 fans in Singapore enjoy the 2-day musical which had successfully staged its 58<sup>th</sup> and 59<sup>th</sup> performances over the weekend since its debut in Hong Kong in 2007.
