Hong Kong secondary students visit HKETO Office

April 25, 2025

HKETO in Singapore was happy to welcome a group of 36 Hong Kong secondary students from the Strive and Rise Alumni Club (共創明Teen校友會) on April 25, during their cultural exchange and experiential journey to Singapore and Malaysia.

Our director, Mr Owin Fung, delivered an insightful presentation on the role and importance of work of ETO, the closer ties between Hong Kong and the ASEAN countries on economic and trade, as well as people-to-people connections.

The students engaged enthusiastically in the Q&A session, demonstrating a strong curiosity and knowledge about the region and its future, and showing a keen interest in how Hong Kong youngsters can contribute to and benefit from ASEAN’s dynamic development.

Thanks to the generosity of the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation (大灣區共同家園青年公益基金) – its Deputy CEO Ms Dionne Kung also participated in the tour - and arrangement by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (東華三院), we truly hope the five-day educational trip would help broaden the global perspectives of Hong Kong youth and deepen their understanding of the developments and diverse cultures of ASEAN countries.
