Hong Kong tertiary students visit HKETO Office

In April and May, Singapore HKETO was pleased to welcome over 110 tertiary students from Hong Kong to Singapore as part of their study and career exploration programmes.
ETO director, Mr Owin Fung, delivered presentations on the uniqueness and importance of HKETO’s work and shared about the socio-economic and geopolitical developments in the four countries under our purview — Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, and India.
Students, coming from various disciplines of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Tung Wah College, were active during the Q&A sessions and demonstrated a keen interest in regional economic trends, innovation, urban planning, and people-to-people ties.
As part of our continuous efforts to support Hong Kong youngsters to envision the ASEAN region, our office has already received over 200 secondary and tertiary students this year. We hope these exchanges will help to broaden their horizons and enrich their academic journeys to become the next generation of leaders.
