Singapore ETO and Singapore International Chamber of Commerce co-organise networking reception

HKETO in Singapore was pleased to co-organise a networking reception with our long-standing partner, the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC), on Oct 29 evening. The event was held in conjunction with the delegation visit led by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP).
The reception brought together around 80 participants from Hong Kong and Singapore’s innovation and technology related communities, including senior executives, founders, and representatives from technology enterprises and start-ups, banks, business chambers, universities, etc. It provided a warm and engaging platform for networking, exchange of ideas, and exploration of potential partnerships.
In his welcome remarks, our director Mr Owin Fung said that the event formed part of the Office’s continuous efforts to support Hong Kong SAR Government’s “Go Global” initiative. By fostering direct exchanges between innovation and technology players from both Hong Kong and Singapore, the reception aimed to deepen mutual understanding of each other’s development landscapes, explore new business synergies and opportunities, and strengthen ties between the two innovation ecosystems.
Mr Fung added that Hong Kong, as a world-class international innovation and technology hub, will continue to forge strong connections with partners across the region to advance collaboration, knowledge sharing, and talent mobility.
SICC’s Board Chairman Mr Wong Joo Seng and HKSTP’s Director of Partnerships and Account Management Ms Gladys Oon, also joined and gave a speech in the event.
