Singapore ETO is delighted to support the Hong Kong Business Association Vietnam 2026 Gala Dinner in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Themed “Intangible Hong Kong”, the Gala Dinner transported over 200 guests from the Hong Kong and Vietnam business communities into the very heart and soul of Hong Kong’s living heritage.
It was a wonderfully nostalgic evening filled with colour, energy, and timeless traditions. Guests were immersed in a rich tapestry of intangible cultural treasures — from the graceful melodies and movements of Cantonese Opera-inspired dance, to the vibrant spirit of the Cheung Chau Bun Festival, the explosive energy of the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance, the thrilling excitement of Hong Kong horse racing, the fascinating ritual of Villain Hitting, and the traditional fortune stick drawing that offered playful glimpses into destiny. We also celebrated the profound healing wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, while elegant ladies in stunning qipao glided through the crowd, adding a classic touch of old Hong Kong glamour.
Our Director Ms Elsa Hung highlighted the strong and booming Hong Kong-Vietnam relations across trade, investment and people-to-people exchanges. She was delighted to share that the number of Vietnamese visitors to Hong Kong surged by an impressive 35% in 2025, and warmly welcomed friends from Vietnam to come and experience Hong Kong’s vibrant intangible cultural treasures in person.
