Singapore ETO supports the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce mission to Singapore

Singapore ETO is pleased to support the 20-strong Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) mission to Singapore, led by Vice Chairman Ms Nikki Ng, from September 21 to 22.
On September 21, Singapore ETO and HKGCC co-organised the Hong Kong-Singapore Business Networking Reception, bringing together over 60 senior business leaders from both cities. The reception provided a platform to strengthen business connections and explore cross-border collaboration.
Speaking at the reception, Director Elsa Hung highlighted the core pillars of Hong Kong’s first Five-Year Plan and the key priorities of the 2026 Policy Address, including strengthening the “Four Centres and One Hub”, expediting the development of the Northern Metropolis, deepening Greater Bay Area integration and expanding international collaboration networks, as well as enhancing social well-being. She emphasised the complementary strengths of Hong Kong and Singapore and encouraged enterprises to leverage these strengths to explore investment, business expansion and partnership opportunities in both markets and the wider region.
During the two-day mission, the HKGCC delegation met with Dr Tan See Leng, Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry) of Singapore, with Singapore ETO representatives taking part in the exchange. Discussions covered deepening government-business partnerships, fostering regional innovation, and helping enterprises navigate the shifting global economic landscape.
The programme also included a lunch hosted by the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce for the visiting HKGCC delegation, with Singapore ETO represented at the gathering, celebrating the longstanding links between two of the region’s oldest chambers of commerce.
