Singapore ETO welcomes delegation from Vocational Training Council Hong Kong to join 10th ITE-VTC International Student Seminar to support youth exchanges

Singapore ETO is delighted to welcome the 270-strong delegation from the Vocational Training Council (VTC) Hong Kong, led by VTC Chairman Jeffrey Lam, to Singapore from June 23 to 25, and joined the 10th ITE-VTC International Student Seminar (ISS), a biennial flagship event jointly organised by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Singapore and VTC Hong Kong since 2007.
Themed “Youth Voices in a Changing World”, this year’s seminar brought together over 550 students from Hong Kong and Singapore for meaningful exchanges, insightful sharing sessions, and enriching cross-cultural learning. The 10th edition marks a significant milestone in a long-standing partnership built on shared vision, mutual trust, and a deep commitment to nurturing the potential of our youth.
From innovative project showcases to lively discussions on future skills and emerging industry trends, the seminar broadened students’ horizons and fostered genuine connections. In a rapidly evolving world, partnerships like the ITE-VTC collaboration play an increasingly vital role in equipping young people with global perspectives, confidence, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility.
The programme concluded on a high note with a delightful sharing of Hong Kong-inspired dishes meticulously curated by VTC’s Chinese and International Culinary Institutes at the Hong Kong Night Dinner.
