Business and Talent Attraction

Hong Kong offers abundant opportunities for overseas businesses and talents. To provide facilitation, Hong Kong has established the following new institutional mechanism as announced in the Chief Executive’s 2022 Policy Address –

  • Established the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES), an office to attract target companies, particularly those form industries of strategic importance, by offering them special facilitation measures and one-stop services. The industries include life and health technology, artificial intelligence and data science, financial technology, advanced manufacturing, and new-energy technology. Follow its LinkedIn to get the latest updates.

  • Established the Talents Service Unit (TSU), a dedicated website serving as a one-stop platform of talent engagement, admission facilitation and support services for incoming talents, by sharing general knowledge on living and working in Hong Kong, providing information about our talent attraction regime and job opportunities in Hong Kong, and facilitating the settlement and job exploration process. Follow its LinkedIn and WeChat to get the latest updates. The Immigration Department currently runs a multitude of talent admission schemes each with a different set of criteria.
